MMP to host O'Reilly Super Chevy Show May 16-18

5, 2008) -- Montgomery
Motorsports Park will host the only Alabama appearance of the O'Reilly Super
Chevy Show May 16-18. The three-day spectacular is presented by the GM
Performance Division.
The Super Chevy Show features the ground
pounding Aeromotive Nitro Coupes and the Danchuk Jet Wars, Four classes of
racing including the ProCharger Bracket One Brawl, Jegs Bracket two Battle,
the NitroPlate DOT Street Fight and the Jr. Dragster Wars. In addition,
the TREMEC True Street Challenge presented by Mr. Gasket offers a unique
combination of street and strip as entrants will take a drive around
Montgomery and then do back-to-back passes on the MMP strip. A big part of
any O'Reilly Super Chevy Show is the Danchuk Jet Wars and the one and only
"King of the Wheelstanders" - Bob Hall.
 Off
the MMP strip, fans will find the TREMEC Transmission Car Show Series with a
huge field of show cars expected Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the Car
Corral will feature pre-loved race cars, show cars and daily drivers. The
Swap Meet features parts and pieces for almost anything with wheels, and the
Performance and Restoration Marketplace is an incredible maxi-mall featuring
dozens of the best after-market and factory accessories, parts and pieces.
 Racers
have two opportunities to win, with the special TREMEC Bonus Race on
Saturday (5/17) and race eliminations on Sunday. There will also be an
optional Test and Tune session on Friday (5/16) from noon to 5pm. Fans will
be able to get coupons for a $3 discount on admission beginning April 16 at
any O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Montgomery.
