Drivers to Trailer Queens to Go Under the Gavel Saturday at MMP
O’Reilly
Super Chevy Show Comes to MMP Sept. 14-16
Super
Chevy Show website
(Sept. 10, 2007) -- Now in it's 27th Annual Tour, you'd think the
O'Reilly Super Chevy Show had done it all.... but Montgomery MotorSports
Park promoter George Howard has worked with Super Chevy to come up with a
first... the first car auction ever held as part of a Super Chevy Show.
The
one of a kind event will be held on Saturday, September 15 after the
conclusion of the day's racing. Incredible classic Chevys and other brands
will go under the gavel. Early reports indicate car collectors will be
bringing cars to this auction from all over the United States. MMP may look
like one of the big televised auctions when it comes to the quality of the
cars.
But
this isn't just a rich guy's game. Anyone who wants to sell a race car,
show car or daily driver can enter it in the O'Reilly Super Chevy Show's
Car Corral for only $45...and get free inclusion in the Saturday night
auction. Sellers set their own minimum prices, and if their car is
purchased, they pay only a five percent premium at the auction, which is
sponsored by www.workmat.com.
There
are no pre-entries for the O'Reilly Super Chevy Show Car Corral, but gates
will open at 10am - 5pm on Friday and 7am - 5pm on Saturday at Montgomery
MotorSports Park for Car Corral registration. |
